Privacy policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Information we collect

We collect account details, project scope, approximate location, photos, messages, proposal information, contractor verification documents, payment references and product usage events needed to operate the marketplace.

How information is used

Information is used to verify users, match projects, process contractor credits, prevent fraud, deliver notifications, support marketplace operations and improve product reliability.

Private project information

Projects are not indexed by search engines. A contractor sees the ZIP code and project scope only when its approved profile and service area match. Exact contact details are revealed only after the homeowner accepts a proposal.

Service providers

FlooringMatch is designed to use Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Resend, Twilio, PostHog, Sentry and Google Places. Each provider receives only the information needed for its function.

Your choices

Users may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to fraud prevention, accounting and legal retention requirements. Marketing and project notifications have separate consent controls.

Launch requirement

This draft must be reviewed by qualified United States counsel before public launch, including state privacy requirements and text-message consent.
