FlooringMatch

Launch draft for counsel review

Marketplace terms

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Marketplace role

FlooringMatch provides project posting, matching, proposal comparison and messaging tools. FlooringMatch does not perform flooring work and is not a party to the service contract between a homeowner and a contractor.

Homeowner responsibilities

Homeowners must provide accurate project and contact information, use the service for genuine projects and avoid requesting unsafe, unlawful or discriminatory work.

Contractor responsibilities

Contractors must maintain accurate business, insurance, licensing, service-area and availability information. Approval does not replace a homeowner’s independent evaluation of a company.

Proposal credits

Contractors see the exact credit cost before sending a proposal. Credits are charged when the proposal is successfully created. Losing a bid, receiving a higher competing bid or not being selected does not create a refund right.

Prohibited conduct

Users may not scrape private projects, bypass contact protections, submit false documents, manipulate reviews, harass users or attempt unauthorized access.

Launch requirement

This draft requires legal review before public use. Governing law, dispute resolution, limitation of liability and state-specific contractor terms must be finalized by counsel.
