Proposal credit refund policy

Eligible refunds
A contractor may receive marketplace credits when FlooringMatch confirms a duplicate project, fraud or spam, an incorrect market or flooring-category match, a system charge without a created proposal, or seven days with no homeowner activity on any proposal.
Ineligible outcomes
Credits are not refunded because another company was selected, the homeowner declined a proposal, the proposed price was not competitive or the contractor chose not to continue after submitting.
Review process
Refund requests are reviewed against project, message and audit history. Approved refunds return credits to the contractor wallet and create an immutable ledger entry. They are not card refunds unless required by law.
Duplicate protection
Each proposal can receive at most one refund entry. Repeated webhook delivery and repeated admin actions cannot credit the same proposal twice.
